We're rewilding Canada with Project Forest!

Entering the second year of our partnership with Project Forest, we're 'growing' our impact on our sustainability mission, proving that NOTHING IS POSSIBLE.  Project Forest doesn’t just plant trees, they’re planting forests. Last year, we contributed to the completion of the Project Forest Cumberland House Cree Nation Food and Medicine Forest. With your support of the Project Forest Lodgepole Pine and Spruce Green Special Editions, we were able to help plant hundreds of trees.

We're proud to announce that we've become a Bronze Grove Partner, committing to supporting the planting of 1,000 trees with the Project Forest Siksika Nation Community Shelterbelt Program. The program seeks to address the lack of natural infrastructure in both residential and agricultural areas, where community members are increasingly feeling the effects of climate change in a valley with little to no natural protection from extreme weather.

Project Forest Siksika Nation Community Shelterbelt Program

A mission to plant a million trees over five years is an ambitious one, but Project Forest is undertaking it with the support of Indigenous leaders, members of the community, and partners like RZE. Through the planting of trees and shrubs, the people of Siksika Nation will benefit for generations through mitigation of effects of climate change, enhancing privacy from nearby roads, and improving access to traditional plants and medicines.

In May 2024, Project Forest planted 130,760 trees and shrubs, creating 27.8 km (92.9 km total individual rows) of new shelterbelts in both community and agricultural areas. This fall, a member of Team RZE had the opportunity to plant some trees of our own on Siksika Nation, symbolic of the future that we're growing together. Learn more about the Siksika Nation Community Shelterbelt Program and how we're making an impact together.

Earth Month

Continuing our tradition for Earth Month (April), we're highlighting our collaboration with Project Forest! Every order we ship from RZE is always carbon neutral and this April, we're planting a tree or shrub for every product sold.

Leaving a Legacy

Team RZE is committed to helping rewild Canada through a long term partnership with Project Forest. 'Let's Rewild Canada' patches are also available in the RZE store as an add-on so adventurers can make a direct impact, providing funding for the planting of a tree or shrub on Siksika Nation. Maximizing the lifecycle of your watches, you are also be able to trade in your adventurer companion with the RE-VERIFIED program and apply your credit to plant trees that will last for generations.

Adventurers can also support Project Forest through the special editions of the Urbanist and Resolute Pro, with a 15% of each sale dedicated to helping build a self-sustaining ecosystem, offering local opportunities for traditional food, land use and knowledge sharing for generations to come.
